The origin
A dream born between two cultures
Hayat means "life" in Arabic. This word carries the entire philosophy of our house: to breathe life into every interior, through pieces that tell a story, yours as much as ours.
Maison Hayat was born from a simple observation: the richness of oriental decorative art deserved a contemporary interpretation, designed with care and made locally. Not in a factory on the other side of the world — but here, in Drôme, in the heart of the Rhône Valley.
We wanted to create a brand that serves as a bridge between cultures, between the sacred geometry of zellige and the precision of French design, between the warmth of souks and the elegance of Parisian interiors.

Each pattern is hand-drawn, inspired by Arabic geometry, calligraphy, and arabesques — then reinterpreted with a contemporary perspective.
